LAMSON Litespeed F All-Water Fly Fishing Reel

The Litespeed F is the freshwater version of the new Litespeed, designed and assembled in the US. The chassis is based on the conical system found in our other reels, with the addition of a click stop drag knob and a unique spring set that creates a linear progression of torque with very fine resolution at the light end of its range. The LSF spool and frame architecture is super-arbor in scale for high retrieve, but spare and open to promote line drying and reduce weight.

The Litespeed F is extremely lightweight and strong, thanks to extensive machine and design work. It picks up line at an incredible rate due to its size, without adding extra weight, resulting in high performance in a beautifully machined reel.

The reel features a fully CNC machined 6061 aluminum frame and spool, which are anodized for resistance to damage and abrasion. The proprietary sealed conical drag system offers a smooth broad range of drag with plenty of power on the high end, and helps keep water out to ensure the drag is protected in any environment.

The Litespeed F's tall narrow profile with a super arbor design reels in line at an incredible rate, providing plenty of room for backing capacity and neat line management. The additional machining on the spool means your fly line and backing dry quickly, helping your gear last longer.

The reel is set up for left-hand retrieve and can be easily switched to right-hand retrieve without the need for tools, making it ambidextrous.
